I love to stand. It seems to keep the razor dryer and easier to store heavily made and slips in and out very easy with the rubber silicone padding.
I bought this at BARBERCON in Dallas last August and I have 2 issues with it. 1st: The 5 minute cut off time can be very inconvenient if you don’t work it in your routine because if you forget, you have to sit & wait for it to heat up as it takes 80-90 secs which feels like minutes when you’re trying to finish a client. 2nd: The pods don’t last long enough for commercial use. Being a Shop Owner I would want to buy a gallon of the lather soap or make the Pods bigger. These are the reasons it didn’t get 5 Stars. Being marketed to Professional Barbers at a Barber Convention I expect to be able to use it commercially. That being said… it is a GREAT PRODUCT! I Love this little thing! It’s innovative! It’s the first of it’s kind! Smells Great! For Residential use it gets 5 Stars. I look forward to seeing if this company designs and engineers a model made for commercial use!
These are great blades they shave much better than the feather and they seem to last around two weeks of daily use so they’re great and a price is much better than buying the feather
I find the HiCarbon blades provide a smoother shave than the Feather blades, without sacrificing efficiency. I've never looked back once these blades became available!
Barbershop is my favorite. The scent is wonderful and the consistency of the cream is excellent. It applies evenly, rinses easily, and doesn't clog my razor. My go-to shaving cream.
I went all-in and purchased the Genesis a few years ago and, after a short learning curve, had the best shaves ever with the Feather blades. When Oneblade released their HiCarbon SE blades I gave them a try. I was blown away. These blades are beyond amazing. I never really understood the idea of shaving as being part of one's morning "ritual" as I've read it described in the various forums, but now I do. After 40 years of shaving and never enjoying the process I now look forward to shaving. The Genesis feels like a real, finely crafted tool in my hand and the SE blades take it over the top.
Many months ago I gave these blades a one star rating. This was somewhat unfair as I had not actually been able to have a shave with them because I could not fit them into my OneBlade razor. Since then a friend has let me borrow a spare OneBlade razor which I the UK was refered to as the Hybrid. I was able to fit these blades into this razor and I have to say, as many others have, these HiCarbon blades ar far better than the Feather ones. They give smooth shaves many more times per blade. So my rating has changed to a 5 star.
This is hands down the best razor I have ever used. No nicks, one pass shave. The blade lasts 10 to 14 days before changing. It has more blade feel than the Element.
OneBlade LTHR is great. The very warm lather make shaving much easier. The lather machine is easy to use and keep clean.
Objectively, this is a good brush, though perhaps a bit overpriced for a 20mm knot compared to some other offerings.
It has soft tips and good backbone and didn't shed much on the first use.
Subjectively I prefer larger knots (24mm to 28mm) and I find the handle on this to uncomfortable.
This is an amazing 11/10 razor that is let down by its stock blades.
I find the Feather FHS blades to be expensive, short lived, and a little bit dull/tuggy feeling but that they leave my skin smooth and irritation free.
The hicarbon blades on the other hand are long lasting and laser sharp, but will nick and cause razor burn if my technique isn't utterly perfect.
For me, where this razor shines best is with despined and modified GEM blades (3 facet, PTFE coated). Those give me brainless, effortless BBS with no nicks or irritation, every single time. And the blades last me two weeks or more.
Love this cream. I have been wet shaving for about 20 years and have tried most of the creams around, and keep coming back to this one. Works particularly well when combined with the aftershave balm.
Packaging wise, I prefer the tub to the new squeeze tube. I face lather and the tub just works better for me for loading the brush
This is a great razor but for the price, only a small improvement over the Element. I bought the Element six months ago and loved it as a great improvement over the cartridge razors I had been using for 60 years. After using my old cartridge razor on a recent vacation, I decided to use the Element as my travel razor and take advantage of One Blade's generous upgrade discount (Thank!) and buy the Genisis. I can say that the Genisis gives a closer shave but otherwise the experience is about the same.
It took a few shaves to get used to shaving with the One Blade Element using the Hi Carbon blades. I'm on my fifth shave on the first blade and have achieved smooth shaves each time. Once you have the correct angle and apply the right amount of pressure you can complete three passes in no time. I'm looking forward to shaving with this razor and perfecting my technique.
Great product, makes it easy to store used blades and recycle safely.
Great fragrance and provides a close shave. Leaves skin really well conditioned.
The lavender after shave balm is fabulous, a great scent and moisturizes well.

I had painful ingrown hairs that were unsightly as well, now I’m smooth without the painful ingrown hairs and nasty red bumps the next day. Say goodbye to strawberry legs, because I also had that before using OneBlade. There is a learning curve at first, the company is very honest with that and that was a little intimidating, I almost didn’t order it. But the painful ingrown hairs and razor burn kept bringing me back and I am so thankful I finally ordered my Dawn. If you’re on the fence, just order it-you won’t regret it! I’m very thankful I found OneBlade. It’s a confidence booster!
