Questioned the hype about best, smoothest shave.
Been a mostly daily shaver for over 50 years, have sensitive skin, razor burn, ingrown hairs, etc.
Was blown away after first shave. 1 small nick, my fault, and the feel of my skin and comfort of the have itself was amazing. 6 shades later, no nicks or cuts.
I've started enjoying shaving again instead of dreading it. Throwing away all other razors, I've got quite a collection headed for the trash.
Try it, you'll be amazed at how good your skin feels afterwards.
I use the HiCarbon blades. Feathers are to aggressive for my skin type.

Quick tip... watch the video before your first shave. It makes a difference how you hold the razor against your skin and enjoy shaving again.
I love this hot leather machine. Not only does it give me the closest shave but the barbershop smell is amazing. I want to look for a cologne that smells like this as this is the best smell I have ever witnessed. I highly recommend this as it's worth the investment.

I tried it for the first time today. While the later is nice and hot and comes out looking thick, when applied to my face, it was very thin. Almost hard to see where it is applied? Am I doing something wrong? I'll keep trying to see if when applied to my face it stays nice and thick.

Will start this by saying my post shave balm is essentially expired as the date is this month and year. Thats said toying with it at first it hasn't degraded yet and is a good balm.
I think if the alcohol was removed the shaving cream would be better. It dried my skin a bit and needed a tablespoon of cream and maybe about an ounce of water to even begin to build a lather. I did my typical pre-shave ritual with Taylor of old bond street herbal pre-shave but the shaving cream still dried me out through it and overall was a mediocre shave that didnt glide super well and I got some bumps. Definitely not for sensitive skin. Scent is fantastic though.
My favorite Razor I have ever had I have had a bunch of expensive razors but the genius is the best.
Love this shaving cream, and the Barbershop scent is perfect. Lathers up and protects well without feeling heavy or drying out my face.
I previously had an Element and took advantage of the uprgrade program to get a Genesis. I didn't think that you could improve upon the Element which already was my favorite razor in my collection but it did by leaps and bounds! It's a much heftier instrument than the Element and the girth makes it more maneuverable and easier to control the blade. Getting close shaves every time!

Maybe still adjusting to new blades, but still a little razor burn. Seem to stay sharp after 2-3 shaves.
I have been using their Feather blades, which I love. I tried the new carbon blades and they also work very well.
The blades are sharp and I get a close shave every time I use it. It's a great product.

j'ai acheté le pack de 100 lame en avril 2025, et ici en octobre 2025 je n'ai utilisé qu'une seule lame, que j'utilise tout les 3 jours.
Ces nouvelles lame en carbone, sont une tuerie! Je donne 100% et je dit Bravo!

Fantastic product that makes applying creme simple and efficient.
I love to stand. It seems to keep the razor dryer and easier to store heavily made and slips in and out very easy with the rubber silicone padding.
