I mostly have a beard, but I shave my neck and beard line regularly. I always have problems with my neck, and I have shaven with various razors (electric, single edge, double edge, and multi blade). The Genesis is the best razor I have used. It's precise, comfortable, and gives the closest shave with no irritation, cuts, or ingrown hairs. The LTHR machine is truly awesome as well, hot consistent lather on demand that is super slick, is for me, superior to a badger hair brush and scuttle. The lather goes on hot and thick, and does become thin as it sits on the face, but this works perfect for me, because I can easily see where I am shaving to line up my beard. The price is a premium price, but I feel like a got a real bargain buying the bundle, Genesis with the LTHR, blades, lather cartridges, and aftershave. Highly recommend this to anyone that wants a comfortable luxurious shave!

I hesitated at first. As many others have commented, the price makes this a high-end purchase. So first I tried the Element and it was quite nice, especially after coming from a cartridge razor. I took advantage of the upgrade program discount and got the Genesis. Just holding it in my hand made me smile. The shave is easy and balanced. So glad I went for it.

This razor has a bit weight which helps with control of the shave. It easily cuts my whiskers with ease as it glides across my face. With a couple of passes, it provides a very close shave.

I was doubtful upgraded or no but eventually I upgraded and top of that the Hi carbon fiber blades is awesome no itches no scratches and razor is upto perfect but I understand the cost is too high and pricey i got a great discounts that why I was able to buy or else it's wouldn't have bought it but if once again cost goes down and comes in my budget for sure will upgraded new razor

I just received my Genesis today. I have the cheapest model, then Hybrid. I will use this for head shaving and neck detailing on my beard. Head shaver for 26 years. Tried cartridges (Gillette, Headblade, etc). I own multiple DE razors and SE razors. With a high carbon blade and this beautiful razor, I easily knocked down three days growth on the head.Two passes and some touch up and I had a BBS shave. One of the best and closest shaves I have ever experienced. Bonus: no irritation, no nicks, no cuts!

If anyone says this razor is not for head shaving, they are sadly mistaken. If anyone says this razor will get you a close shave, but not BBS, they are once again, sadly mistaken.

If you have the funds to purchase this razor, then GET IT! It is a lifetime keeper......then you can pass it on to your kids or grandkids. No, I am not a paid actor. Lol!!
