LET'S TALK SUMMER SKIN HEALTH
Ahhh, summer. This change in the season may mean itโs time to change your facial care routine. Weโre serving up three simple recommendations that will help your face be summer ready:
ย
1. Wash.
Increasing outdoor temperatures means more sweat. As sweat rolls down your face, it gathers oils and bacteria that ultimately settle into your pores. Washing your face using warm water and aย facial cleanser, twice a day (morning and evening) will help keep your pores clear of these impurities.
2. Moisturize.
After washing your face, apply a facial moisturizer. Moisturizing helps keep your skin cells full of water, preventing oil and other impurities from entering your pores. In the morning, if you shave directly after washing your face, an aftershave balm can be used as a substitute for moisturizer. And, good news if you wet-shave: shave brushes naturally exfoliate your face. Exfoliated skin absorbs the products you apply better.
3.ย Protect.
The ultimate protection for your skin, during any season, is sunscreen. Melanoma is the 19th most common cancer in both men and women around the world, according to the World Cancer Research Fund. If thatโs not a reason to lather up daily, we donโt know what is. We recommend you use sunscreens that do not containย oxybenzone. Instead, use natural sunscreens with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, likeย PROTECT

Your skin can be happy and healthy during any seasonโespecially summer!
